The Forgotten Umbrella is a sad, but useful thing. Sort of like most talented comedy creators. Our production team aims to shed light on underrepresented comedy voices, whether it be women+, people of color, LGBTQ+ creators or anyone with a fresh take on their own narrative.  We collaborate with some of the best comedy writers and actors in New York City. You may have seen them on TV with HBO, Comedy Central, Desus & Mero or The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. You can catch them live Off-Broadway with The Office Musical Parody or at a UCB Sketch and Improv House Team show. You will find them all over the web with College Humor, Above Average & Funny or Die to name a few.  Or you may never have seen them at all because they still haven't gone to get headshots. Who knows, life is hard.

We showcase their humor in our digital mini-series of unrelated comedy shorts, titled "Forgotten Umbrellas." Our lil' micro-films have been featured at many festivals including the New York City Independent Film Festival, the Pensacola Indie Fringe & Comedy Festival, and the Rhino Comedy Shorts Film Fest.  Recently "Brotherly Love" was a national finalist at the 2019 Battle of the Sketches and screened with the Always Happy Video Comedy Bop at Chelsea Music Hall, headlined by Phoebe Robinson and Ronny Chieng.

FUP also creates short films, web series and branded content unrelated to this series and are always excited to read new scripts. Check out our work, like, subscribe and reach out!
